Relaxed, unhurried, peaceful, Kamala is a place
to take it easy, feel the sand between your toes and appreciate
the good things in life. Eat some great seafood right on the beach,
at local restaurants or on the terrace of your hotel.
Whether it's Thai, European or seafood you'll
find a cosy restaurant. Dine on the beach at one of the local places,
or if you feel like something more sophisticated, there are a few
excellent choices nearby. (See Dining Out) Naka Flavors located
on the road to Patong offers great food (a fusion of Thai and French)
and romantic dining. (Moon usually arrives on cue!)
Have a cocktail before dinner and watch the sun
go down at one of the little bars you'll come across while strolling
the beach. Laid back and often with good music, the bars are a great
place to end a hectic day on the beach. A popular place is the reggae
bar (Bob's bar) complemented by the sound of waves and the swaying
coconut trees...

Beach, located on the smaller beach of Kamala just before
the Kamala
Bay Terrace Resort. Serves excellent Tex-Mex and Thai
food right on the beach. Full moon parties with a live band
are held every month.
