Simple items such as postcards etc can be sent from the reception
desks of most major hotels. For major items, if you want speedy
clearance, go to the main Post Office in Patong Beach, located
along Rat-U-Thit Road, next to the Patong Palace Hotel at
the northern end of Patong. Open 8am to 4.30pm. The Thai post
service is usually reliable. Urgent or important items can
be sent by EMS. This is faster and safer but the cost is higher.
